The PS2 was released in 2000. God of War II and FFXII were released in 2007. Persona 4 was released in 2008. Games are still coming out for the system in 2009 (Ghostbusters, FIFA, Madden, etc). This guy's math is way off. The PS2's life cycle didn't end with the release of the PS3 (and even that one was only launched in 2007 in PAL territories).
I really don't understand all the praise that Bayonetta is getting. I played the demo once and deleted it right after. To me it feels like another DMC clone and I really couldn't get into the art style and all the lame sexual innuendo. Maybe I'm just getting old, but this game is way to much catered to the 14 year-old boys out there for my taste. Guess I'm not a part of the target audience.

Some parts of the game look better on the 360 and others on the PS3. So what? That's expected when you have the same game running on two very different systems. Do we really need to go trough this fanboy crap once more?

I completely agree with you. These days we're seeing a complete avalanche of near-perfect scores for any particularly overhyped game. And frequently, all it takes is playing two of those games for 10 minutes to realize they're not even on the same league. You can have two games with the exact same score, but one of them is worth $60 while the other one isn't.

Most fans of the SoT trilogy weren't happy with this latest installment in the Prince of Persia series because it was so different, and I respect that. You don't even know half the story my friend. By the time GT5 is released I expect the media's double standards to reach their peak. Features such as rally racing, night driving and the track editor will be downplayed, while the damage system will be considered lackluster along with other issues that were conveniently overlooked in other racing games recently released.

EDIT - The article was submitted by a well known Xbox 360 fanboy. What a surprise!
It's a good deal but not as good as the 250gb slim PS3 bundled with Uncharted 2, even if slightly cheaper. The slim is a better system. It's incredibly silent and it produces less heat, meaning it's less prone to hardware failures.
I recommend the Uncharted 2 bundle if available in your country.
Well... We already have two of them this gen and by the time FFXII was released on the PS2, the PS3 was also on the market.
